Black Moon Lilith

Most people only know their sun signs and do not consider the any other placements of planets in their charts, let alone consider how asteroids effect us in our birth charts.

In Astrology we all have a sign in the asteroid Black Moon Lilith.  Now there are actually 3 Liliths.  There is asteroid Lilith, dark moon Lilith, and black moon Lilith.  This post will discuss asteroid Lilith.

Now who is Lilith?  Found in many cultures for hundreds of years, she is the opposition of Eve in the bible.  The woman who will not submit, the demon goddess who invades your dreams.  So how does Lilith effect you?

First it is best to understand what key words are associated with asteroid Lilith.
infertility, rebel, abuse, grief, loss, the dark side of a person etc., power and sex.
Think of Lilith as the larger part of our chart that represents that dark side that we hide from the world.  It is beyond your moon sign or your sun sign.

How do you find yours?  Go to www.astro.com that is where you can enter your birth sign information and discover your placements. You will have to go in and add that you want the asteroids or the chart will not show it.

How can you use the information about your Lillith asteroid placement when you know what your sign it is in? First, Lilith spends about 4 months in each sign and its orbit is about 4 years and 4 months.

Lilith is that 'rage against' or 'we're not gonna take it' placement.  It is not meant to run, it is meant to stand up and fight or hold your own ground.

I will be posting about each sign in Lilith.  This takes time.  In the mean time find your Lilith.

Tarot- Swords

The most striking and ominous cards in the deck, the Ten of Swords shows a man lying flat on the ground with his face facing the dirt. He is covered with a red cloth from the chest down to his legs. Ten long swords are stabbed into his back, he may not have seen this end coming. There is a terrible stillness in the air: the sky above him is black and cloudy indicating the fear and negativity associated with death. The waters in front of him are still, with no ripples - adding to the eerie stillness and finality of this card. Looking into the horizon, in the east, the sun is rising, and the weather seems very calm despite the darkness. The Ten of Swords seems to intimate that this is the lowest point in one's life, and it cannot get worse than this. At least, even in this state, the sun is rising.
I never get a good feeling when any swords are the subject of discussion.  However depending on the reading, the placement and what the seeker is looking for has impacts.  However, we can always look forward to better times and happier endings.
In astrology, the swords are associated with air signs- Libra, Gemini and Aquarius.  Each of those signs has a ruling planet-  Libra is Venus, Gemini is Mercury and Aquarius is Uranus.
When air signs are involved, this is where communications are involved.  Transmission of ideas and thoughts, community building through common interest and visions, the keeping and carrying of stories.
